FREE Classes for Beginning Independent Authors
February 18 - March 11, 2023 Victoria Room, Harrogate Library
All levels of experience are welcome, however, the classes are aimed at beginning independent authors. A 'Beginning Independent Author' will be considered to be less than 3-6 books. By the time you've published 6 books, you will generally have developed your own strategies for writing, publishing and promotion, and a strong understanding of your audience.
For those with less than 3-6 books, these courses will introduce you to important, tried and true, tools and approaches that will give you a much better chance of success. For those with more experience, the classes could provide useful refreshing of information of helpful updates.

Week 3: Publishing - Where? How? When?
It's never been easier to self-publish quality books, but there have also never been more options and tools available. Go narrow with Kindle Unlimited? Wide on as many as possible? Which ones you use depends on your goals, and where your audience is.
I'll give you a summary of the platforms as well as a walk-through of each and a look at their e-book software.
